Federal Intervention
A vote in the house late last night authorized federal courts to step in on the Schiavo case. The GOP have made this issue their own. I’m not sure why. This is federal intervention in what ought to be a state matter. The GOP ought to be on the other side. I sympathize with the Schiavo family, both sides, and the gut wrenching decisions they’ve had to face, but nevertheless, this does not belong in Federal court.
