Utah Politics in National News

by Ed Partridge

Here is what the website politics1 (www.politics1.com) is reporting from Utah:

“UTAH:A poll conducted for a business group shows wealthy businessman Jon Huntsman Jr. leading University Board of Regents Chair Nolan Karras by a landslide 63% to 17% vote for Governor in the upcoming June 22 GOP primary. Huntsman weighed in this week with a new TV spot featuring an endorsement from former President George H.W. Bush. Anonymous Karras supporter(s) — purporting to be created by “just a Mom” — countered with a very nasty anti-Huntsman site called UtahSerfs.com.”

Whoa, that UtahSerfs.com site is pretty hard on Huntsman! The latest Karras TV ad strikes me as pretty aggressive as well. Looks like things are really getting ratcheted up.
