Swallow: Saying Something is Negative is Negative
I started off writing a short report on the Swallow and Brdigewater debates in St. George last night. The Deseret News and the St. George Spectrum both had coverage. What caught my eye, however was this little gem:
“Where I come from, the intimation that anyone is running a negative campaign is negative,” said Swallow, who was responding to a question from the audience during a debate held on the Dixie State College campus. “Where I come from the intimation is negative, and I don’t understand it. I just don’t understand where this question is going.”From deseretnews.com | Swallow, Bridgewater debate in Dixie

This is usually the kind of politically correct doublespeak that get’s thrown up by the left. I find it fascinating that Swallow would expect us to swallow that.
