26% Say Enid is a Problem for Them
An interesting poll in yesterday’s Deseret News shows 26% of voters “somewhat less likely” or “much less likely” to vote for the Karras ticket in the primary. The problem for Karras is that its unlikely he would have made it out of the primary without Enid on his ticket—political junkies are willing to research Enid and decide that she’s be a great Lt. Governor regardless of the past. Primary voters, on the other hand are less likely to have done enough reading to decide the Enid question from recent information and will simply remember a “bad aura” about her and turn the other way. I must explain Enid to people I know 2 or 3 times a day.
I think the number one thing the Karras campaign needs to do is get Enid in front of people.
