High Tech Classrooms
by BB
The following letter has been sent to all the candidate running for governor. Only Senator Hellewelll has agreed to endorse a new high tech educational system that has been approved by Congress to use in public education. Not only that but they have set aside funds to install these new classrooms as well. If politicians are concerned about education then why don’t they let more of their constituents know that high tech classrooms are available, where to get the information and support improving the educational system by making sure that decision makers know what is available.
Congress approved a new high tech classroom called Super Teaching and has set aside Title I Refurbishment funds so that these classrooms can be installed. Each facility can apply for $1.5 million in federal money to install 10 classrooms.
Then schools can apply to over 100 (this list is growing) major corporations and foundations that offer grant money so that schools can install more classrooms.
How much easier can Congress make this? They approve the classrooms and set aside money to initiate their installation and yet educators don’t know they are available and how to get funds.
I hope that policians will get onboard and inform educators about where to find what they have passed and at the very least endorse the efforts of those who are working to get this information to Superintendents, principals, colleges and educators in the public and private school systems.
